Can Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies keep the magic alive? In a season in which the club fired its manager in June, finished third in the NL East, and was the sixth and final team in the National League to qualify for the playoffs, something magical might be happening this October in Philadelphia. With the swing of his life, Harper helped send the Phillies to the World Series where they will face the Houston Astros, champions of the American League for the fourth time in the last six years. The Astros finished the season with 106 wins — tops in the AL — and have yet to lose a postseason game after sweeping the Mariners and then the Yankees. The World Series begins in Houston on Friday at 8:03 p.m. ET (5:03 p.m. PT) on?Fox.
