Your iPhone is a sleek convenience machine that you probably take everywhere, so it’s not surprising that you might also lose it anywhere. That’s why Apple created a feature called Find My network, which allows you to track down your missing iPhone and?other devices in and out of the Apple ecosystem. If you’re prone to misplacing devices, it’s a good idea to keep the Find My iPhone setting on, but there are some cases where you’ll need to turn it off.

You should also turn the feature off if you need to send your iPhone in for service, according to Apple’s support page.?
Fortunately, Apple makes it easy to turn off Find My iPhone. The steps vary depending on the operating system you’re using, but you only need a few steps to flip that switch. Here’s what you need to know.
